I’ve been using this a little over 2 weeks. I’m a barber/hairstylist, honest review here. I normally read reviews before I buy, I read after the purchase. That’s why I waited to review it. I have coarse, colored and highlighted hair, plus our water is hard. I’ve had a difficult time finding a set I like. This , I think is it (pink bottle). First of all it’s ph is balanced. I’ve gone 2-3 days in between shampoos just because lots of reviews complained about it making their hair oily. Unless you have a dry scalp, you don’t need to condition your hair but from right above the ears down and the bangs. Rinse your hair in cooler water. That closes the pores and shuts down the cuticles of the hair shaft, reduces oils. Also, if you play with your hair thru the day, you’re stimulating the scalp and makes it oily.This is the first shampoo and conditioner that I haven’t had to add a leave in conditioner on my hair. It does have a slight “old lady” smell. If you rinse well, it’s barely noticeable. Yes, give it a try. The first shampoo my hair was completely different and so much smoother.

I’ll be very honest with everyone reading this I went in with a little speculation. When I wash my hair I usually lose just a bit. And I just got a keratin treatment so I was looking for sulfate free shampoo and I needed it to protect my hair. Well I used for the first time today and I didn’t lose ONE hair. Omg! Will keep using and although I only wash my hair once a week this is the set I’ll be using! Omg ps these bottles are generous usually people use more than they have to. And do a second wash-no need for that. One satisfied customer!

I’ve been using the curl enhancing coconut oil duo for over a month and I love it! I have a mix of 3a and 3b hair and I’m just amazed how the conditioner easily detangles after a few mins. Shampoo isn’t over drying nor super hydrating (not a fan of hydrating shampoos/ no poo curly products). First shampoo and conditioner where my hair isn’t falling out like crazy as well. What keeps it from being a 5 star review is the identical bottles. I have to keep them separate or else I’ll be grabbing the wrong bottle. The font on these bottles are super tiny and light white color. Hard to read when you have water, steam, and soap suds in your way.

This is an ok shampoo and conditioner set. I wouldn’t say there’s anything super special or great about it. The scent is whatever. My hair is clean and wavy after using it. I got the biotin formula. I don’t feel like it has made my hair thicker or fall out much less. Moisturization is so-so. There is better stuff out there but also worse stuff out there. I would consider this product very mid-grade. I don’t hate it but I don’t love it either. The gift box packaging it comes in is overly cute and even comes with stickers that a 9 to 13 year old might like. Sadly I am too old to enjoy that so it was just more stuff that ended up in my trash can. Also, the shampoo and conditioner bottles look identical. I accidentally pumped out some conditioner instead of shampoo once. I wish they made them look a little different than each other but that might just be a “me” problem.
